Spag bol (slow cooker)

Ingredients
- 2 tsps Olive oil
- 6 mushrooms diced
- 1 large carrot peeled and diced
- 3 garlic cloves crushed
- 500g beef mince
- 800g chopped tomatoes
- 3 tbsp tomato puree
- 1 pinch of salt and pepper
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 vegetable stock cube
- 75ml red wine
- 1 tbsp oregano
- 1 tbsp basil
Method
- STEP 1Put 1 tsp of oil in to a large pan + add the mushrooms, carrot and garlic and gently cook for 3 minutes. Put in slow cooker once done
- STEP 2Put the rest of the oil in the same frying pan and add the beef mince. Gently cook for 3-4 minutes until browned.
- STEP 3Add the browned meat to the slow cooker with the vegetables.
- STEP 4Add the rest of the ingredients to the slow cooker and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours
