- Puff Pastry
- An egg
Method
step 1
Roll out the pastry to about 2cm thickstep 2
Squeeze the sausage meat onto the middle of the pastrystep 3
Roll the pastry over the sausage meat and press firmly at the edges to seal.step 4
Egg brush the folded pastrystep 5
Slice the long sausage roll into equal piecesstep 6
With scissors, cut little Christmas Trees into the top of the pastrystep 7
Put the sausage rolls in the oven to cookstep 8
Remove them when the pastry is golden/light brown
