Ingredients

  • 225g softened butter
  • 225g caster sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 225g S/R flour (remove amount of flour for any other dry ingredients put in)
  • 50g cocca powder
  • 50g mini marshmallows
  • some plain flour to dust inside of cake/loaf tin

Method

  • STEP 1
    Heat oven to 180C fan 160C Beat together 225 g softened butter & 225 g caster sugar until creamy, then add the 4 eggs, one at a time mixing slowly
  • STEP 2
    Sift in the 225g self-raising flour, and mix until well combined. Add any other ingredients (eg: cocca powder, marshmallows etc) Grease inside of a cake/loaf tin with some butter and dust with plain flour
  • STEP 3
    Bake for 45-60 mins until a pointy knife inserted into the centre of the cake comes out clean. Leave on rack to cool
