Tower Vortx 2000W 11l 5-in-1 Digital Air Fryer Oven

https://www.towerhousewares.co.uk/fryers-c9/vortx-2000w-11l-5-in-1-digital-air-fryer-oven-p1644
Pros:
More versatile than a basket fryer
Rotisserie function
Cons:
Can be tricky to clean
3.5 out of 5

You can fit so much into this Tower oven; we found it a useful helper in the kitchen. With most models, all food goes into one basket, but here it’s possible to have multi layers of food cooking at the same time. As with other ‘health’ fryers, the shelves are basket-like and so any fat or juice will fall to the bottom tray, so bear this in mind when stacking ingredients.
You can always use roasting tins, the way you would in a conventional oven – we heated pies and a filo pastry savoury dish in enamel tins on top of the trays and that worked really well.
If you have a fussy family with differing dinner demands, we could see this helping a lot because of the ability to cook multi dishes at once. Pizza on top, wedges and goujons on the remaining shelves and everybody’s happy. When your main oven space is at a premium – say on Christmas day – this would be really useful extra appliance, as it could sort out stuffing, pigs in blankets and extra roasties without taking up valuable place in the main stove with ease.
Add the rotisserie function and it’s better still. With a timer that sets up to an hour, we seasoned our chicken and basted oil with olive oil then walked away leaving it to spin its way to juicy, crispy perfection. (A small X chicken was cooked in XX minutes, but you’d struggle to stuff in a bigger bird. A turkey crown would also work well, as would any other roast. Pork with crackling was a real success too). The other models – with the exception of the Sage – wouldn’t have the capacity to contain a chicken in its entirety and we’d have had to portion up then jiggle the pieces around t cook evenly. We found that food stuck to the mesh shelves at times, but they were very easy to clean. As you can imagine, it was a bigger job to sort out this fryer after using the rotisserie function, but with fat collected in the tray at the bottom and the glass door opening wide, it was a bit tricky easy to wipe down greasy splashes.
