I made this as an experiment with vegan cheese to see how it cooks. It works fine but the flavour is not as strong as mature cheddar would be so I was pleased that there was plenty of mustard added. Having used soya milk in the sauce, this became a vegan meal without any trouble.

This was tasty! I added a tin of tuna, a little extra cheese and reduced the mustard by about a third as my children aren't too keen on an overly mustardy taste. Everyone in the family enjoyed it. I think I will add some more veg next time.

My kids absolutely love this recipe and demand it once a week. Also super quick to cook.

Made this for a family dinner in which I had one veggie attending. It was very tasty but doesn't benefit from sitting around. I had it made about 1 hour before they arrived &then reheated. However the pasta sucked up all the sauce which left the dish quite dry. Next time I'll time it to be ready once they arrive.

Turned out nicely, tasty and quick. I made a few additions with a few chopped up cherry tomatoes stirred into the white sauce just before adding the pasta/broccoli and I also added a few chopped walnuts and breadcrumbs to the cheese that was going on top for a bit more textural variation. I'd make it that way again.

Very nice. I reduced the pasta and broccoli as I was only serving 2 but kept the quantity of sauce, also added crispy pancetta lardons which worked really well. I would make this again.
