Ailsa is currently BBC Good Food and Olive’s Recipe Developer. Graduating from Leith’s School of Food and Wine in 2014, she has previously worked in restaurants before moving into food writing. Her first position was at Sainsbury’s Magazine and then Good Housekeeping. She has array of experience in recipe development from meal kits to editorial as she also spent a few years developing recipes in Canada for a meal kit company. She believes that cooking should be fun and does not have to be complicated to be delicious. In her spare time, she loves nothing more than experimenting and trying out new recipes and flavour combinations for her friends. She is also a very keen sourdough baker.
