Chopped cheese sandwich

Heat the oil in a large frying pan over a high heat. Fry the pork mince and onion for 2 mins, breaking up the meat with a spatula as it browns.

Meanwhile, make the seasoning by mixing together the garlic granules, salt, oregano and turmeric with a pinch of freshly ground black pepper (or use 2½ tsp of ready-made Adobo seasoning). Add to the pan and fry for another 2 mins, stirring to coat the meat.

Press down the mince with the back of the spatula to create an even layer and place the cheese slices over the top. Cook for 1-2 mins until the cheese is melted and the meat is crispy, then split down the middle and fold each half down with the spatula until it’s the right size and shape to fit in the sandwich.

Spread the butter onto the toasted rolls. Fill each roll with ketchup and mayonnaise, then the meat and cheese, and finally the tomato slices and Florette Mixed, before sandwiching the halves together.
