Verdita has become a modern classic on the menus of tequila and mezcal bars. It's a shot of 'little green' served alongside a shot of mezcal, meant to be sipped side by side

- 25ml La Medida mezcal
- 25ml verdita(see below)
To make 500ml bottle verdita
- 450ml pineapple juice
- 50ml lime juice
- 50g coriander
- 50g mint
- 5-10 slices jalapeño, or to taste

Method
step 1
To make the verdita, put all the ingredients into a blender and blitz until well-combined. Strain into a 700ml bottle through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth and chill until cold.

Once the verdita is well-chilled, serve it in a 25ml shot glass alongside the mezcal.
