Step 1
Heat the oven to 200C/180C fan/gas 6. To make the pie filling, heat a splash of oil in a large pan over a medium heat. Add the bacon, onion and thyme and cook for a few mins, before stirring in the cooked turkey and vegetables, along with the stuffing and pigs in blankets, if using.
Step 2
In a separate saucepan, heat the Boursin® cheese, double cream and crème fraîche over a medium heat. Mix until creamy and combined, then pour into the turkey mixture and stir well.
Step 3
Tip the creamy filling into a large deep pie dish. Roll out the pastry on a lightly floured surface until it’s just bigger than the dish, then carefully place it over the filling and crimp the edges with a fork. Brush the pastry with the egg and use a knife to make a hole in the centre for the steam to escape.
Step 4
Bake for 40 mins or until the pastry is puffed and golden, then serve with a generous drizzle of leftover gravy and some green vegetables or carrots.
The much-loved Garlic & Herbs is a delicious blend of delicate garlic, fragrant parsley and mild chives folded into authentic cheese. Creamy yet crumbly, it smothers easily onto crackers, compliments a variety of recipes and takes any grazing platter to a whole new level.
