  1. Mix the crème fraîche with the horseradish and a little salt and pepper. For the dressing, whisk the lime juice and zest with the honey, ginger and seasoning, then whisk in the oil. Lay the smoked salmon and prawns on 2 plates, then top with a dollop of the horseradish cream. Toss the salad in most of the dressing and pile on top. Drizzle the remaining dressing around the plate and serve.

This looks & tastes absolutely georgous with very little effort. My guests were very impressed! Great for a dinner party as it can be prepared earlier & kept in the fridge, add leaves just before serving - perfect.

Fab recipe ..have made for last 2 Christmases.. so easy to prepare in advance. I like to add a little spoonful of caviar on smoked salmon as a bit of a garnish.. lovely.

Made this last night for 12 people as I was asked to do a starter. Took everything with me to the hostesses home and assembled it there. It tastes divine and I put 2 slices of avocado per person on to each plate. Lots of compliments and requests for the recipe. Will do this again.

Made this on Christmas Day and what a success! Made up the dressing and horseradish cream the night before so it was so quick and easy to assemble on the day! Added some avocado slices to each plate and my guests loved it.
