Method

  1. Combine the Pimm’s and brandy with the apple juice in a jug filled with ice, cinnamon sticks and a sliced apple and orange.

Everyone agreed it had a lot of brandy...but no one was complaining :-) We warmed it as per fairy89's suggestion and I think this is the best way. We had this for bonfire's night, but all agreed that it's very Christmassy. I think this may replace the usual mulled wine we have.

This is absolutely delicious! We used a very cheap bottle of brandy and this turned out fantastically. It would be wasteful to use e.g. Remy Martin. Used the suggested quantities but I didn't put any ice in and served the drink warm instead. Have already made a second batch and will definitely be making more in the near future!

Can't get near the cup to taste it for the fumes!!! A lot of brandy, maybe next time i'll use less, hic.
