Moist Peanut Butter Toast, with a twist of margarine

  • 1 Tub of Peanut Butter
  • 1 Tub of Margarine
  • 2 Slices of White Bread
  • 1 Toaster


    1. Pop the bread into the toaster.
    2. Once the toast is crispy golden, remove from the toaster, and immediately spread the margarine on whilst still piping hot.
    3. Evenly spread the peanut butter on top of the toast.
    4. Serve.

I used a whole 500g tub of margarine - as suggested in the ingredients list - and found this dish a little rich. I'd recommend using less.

Personal preference I guess... I got soggy toast too which is just right for this one I think! Thanks for the comments guys!!

Try replacing the bread with Chicken and the peanut butter with salad, its delicious! A great snack!

Try replacing the margarine with marmite - you'll either love it or hate it!

I cant get smooth peanut butter in my local supermarket, does crunchy work just as well?

the middle of the toast ended up soggy, Am I doing something wrong? How much butter should be used?

I'm not trying that one unless that's a serious tip!! Surely not cream - that delves into sweet territory..!

I could cope with the pepper suggestion as it's savoury (although yet to try it yet!)
