Fantastic flapjack

This flapjack is so yummy and is quick, easy and cheap. It is also loved by children and the whole family. Tip: Cut in to chucks and put over ice- cream with a chocolate or syrap sauce.

Method

  1. Melt the butter in a pan, then add the sugar and syrap.
  2. Once all melted, add to the oats and ,mix well.
  3. Put in a greased dish, and spread evenly, then put in a preheated oven Gas 5 for 15 minutes, on top shelf.
  4. 4/ Once cooked, let cool and then cut.
  5. WARNING: ONCE TASTED, YOU WILL WANT MORE.

    Tasty recipe but crumbled completely. I just could not get these to stick together into flapjacks. What am I doing wrong?

    They were crumbly so I may use a little more treacle and less sugar next time and see how that goes but the recipe as it is tasted wonderful and went down very well with all the family! Thanks
