  • 3 unwaxed lemon, roughly chopped
  • 140g caster sugar
  • 1l cold water


  1. Tip the lemons, sugar and half the water into a food processor and blend until the lemon is finely chopped.

  2. Pour the mixture into a sieve over a bowl, then press through as much juice as you can. Top up with the remaining water and serve with plain ice or frozen with slices of lemon and lime.

REALLY easy and very tasty. Makes about 1 1/2 litres. I popped in a lime for extra taste and it was yummy. With more time i probably would have seived again and maybe added more water, but will be defo doing this again for a BBQ or when the sun is out for a treat!

Great Idea for the kids to make on a hot summer's day. I felt the skin-and-all approach might be too bitter for the little ones so we just squeezed juice from 3 large lemons, added the sugar and sparkling water for a fizzy treat. They all loved, I hardly had any left for myself! Will def make again and again....
