Really quick, simple and delicious desert. Made with 70% chocolate but will try with just ordinary dark chocolate, as it was a little strong. Served with raspberry's and cream was a huge hit with everyone. Will be using this again and again!

Absolutely delicious. Made one and a half times the recipe and it fitted 4 ramekin dishes perfectly. I did what other people have suggested and melted the chocolate with the butter. Also added some crushed nuts on the top. Really easy to make in advance for a dinner party.

Could not believe how quick and easy this was to make. Was worried that I had taken all the air out when I was folding it. But it was so light and fluffy. Will definitely be making this again!!

Extremely simple to make. Also left out the Tia Maria (pregnant) and used normal white caster sugar instead of golden. Quick, easy and delicious, will definitely make it again!

So delicious! I only had a high cocoa chocolate on hand and I too found it became grainy, but once I folded it in with the egg white mixture it looked a lot better. Didn't find it light at all, but may have been my over folding due to the graininess and I opted to not add alcohol, but the resulting mousse was dense and decadent, you only need a couple mouthfuls! Served it with cream and was to die for!

It was okay, not sure if I did something wrong but the chocolate wasn't fully melted before going quite thick & grainy - looked a bit like chocolate chip mousse! tasted okay though!

Oh Yum. This was vey easy to make - ten minutes! However, unless you made it early in the day, I would be leaving it overnight as it really does need to set. I left out the Tia Maria but think I may put in some Bailey's the next time. My husband loved it and he is a fussy git.

I have just made this for a dinner party tomorrow and used up some cherry brandy I found lurking at the back of the cupboard. The bowl scrapings tasted delicious. I shall them up with crushed Pistachio nuts sprinkled on top. I have high hopes!:)

So quick and easy! Delicious as well. Will definitely make again. Didn't use any liqueur and it was fine. The texture was mousse-y as well. I think you need to be careful not to overmix when folding in the egg whites.

Really good recipe - so easy. I left out the Tia Maria and added a little grated orange rind for a declicious chocolate orange mousse. I also made the recipe with 3 eggs, 40g butter and 3 spoons of caster sugar and a 100g bar of chocolate (Morrisons cheapest - 35p!) which made five mousses in small wine goblets.

Lovely recipe, so easy to make! First time making chocolate mousse but it turned out perfectly. Weighed out and melted the butter and chocolate together as others have suggested. The second time I made this (yes, cooked it twice in two days as was very popular!), I did a variation where I put a couple of teaspoons of jam in the bottom of the glasses before adding the mousse mixture (I microwaved the jam for 20-30 seconds in the microwave to melt it, then left it to cool before adding the mousse). I used raspberry and black cherry jam, think the raspberry version had the edge!
