To make a quick & tasty alternative Ice Cream try: 125g Sugar | 3 Eggs separated plus 2 yolks | 6 Tbls Armaretto | 300ml Double Cream Boil the sugar with 2|3 Tablespoons of water until it drips off the spoon in a thin thread like trickle. Pour this syrup into the egg yolks and beat until in thickens & foams. Stir in the Armaretto. Whip the cream lightly and fold into the egg mixture. Whip the egg whites until stiff and fold into the mixture. This is not a recipe. Might as well print a recipe for Cornish Pasty that said "Buy Pasty. Open packet. Eat." or a Burger recipe that said "Go to MacDonalds. Take kids."
