Luckily, I have Kalamata olives in the fridge. Any sort of black olives would be fine though.
Great salad, changed nothing and everyone was commenting on the salad.
It is now the base for any salad I make.
Many thanks.

Delicious and easy to prepare. Bought fresh kalamata olives but unfortunately weren't pitted. Still, a delicious salad. Love the juices.

Really delicious, and love, love, love the kalamata olives. Thankfully no lettuce!

So lovely I've made this twice recently. I served it with bbc good food's lamb koftas and a homemade yoghurt and mint dip. Will be a regular feature on my meal planner!

Love this recipe, always come back to it. Haven't tried the lemon juice, will add it next time. Another tip for the onion, if you don't like it too strong, is to soak in cold water for a short while. Tastes better for letting it stand for a while before serving, to let the flavours combine.

Really easy to make. I omitted the olives as we don't like them and substituted sun dried tomatoes. Interested to see people's comments about lemon juice - May try that next time.

Made this to go with the must make moussaka on the website, a match made in heaven. Will definitely be making again.

Reminds me of being in Corfu in the summer. A squeeze of lemon along extra olive oil really aided this dish for me and I also added an avocado that was in the fridge that just sat on top. A perfect Sunday evening supper.

We have been making this salad often this summer. We have been adding a squeeze of lemon and fresh mint. It tastes delicious.

Delicious!!! I have to thank Frogma for the advice with the onion, I left the slices of onion in a bit of lemon juice while preparing the rest of the salad, at the end I added the onion with the lemon juice to the salad and it worked excellent. I changed the amount of ingredients 3 large tomatoes and 2 cucumbers. My family love it THANKS!!!
