Chocolate and nut energy balls

Ingredients

  • 150g stoned Medjool dates
  • 40g rolled oats
  • 2 tbsp agave nectar
  • 1 tsp unsweetened cocoa
  • 60g W.K. Kellogg Cocoa & Hazelnut No Added Sugar Granola

Method

1.  In a blender, whizz the dates with the oats, agave nectar, cocoa, 1 tbsp of water and 25g of the granola until a paste is formed - it doesn’t have to be totally smooth, just nicely mixed with no large chunks.

2.  Put the remaining granola into a ziplock bag and bash with a rolling pin, then transfer into a bowl.

3.  With clean and wet hands, roll the date mixture into 10 balls, then roll in the smashed granola. Eat straight away or place in the fridge to firm up.
