  • step 1

    Put the honey, bitters and whisky in a tumbler. Stir to combine. Add a few ice cubes and stir until the outside of the glass is cold.

  • step 2

    Twist the orange peel over the drink to release the oils, then drop into the cocktail. Garnish with a dried chilli, if you like.

Recipe tip

Hot honey
Make your own by mixing 1 tbsp honey with a pinch of chilli flakes. Leave to infuse for at least 2 hrs before using.
