Cook along with Alexa and Good Food
Are you looking for dinner inspiration? Search for any Good Food recipe simply by asking Alexa. Finding and cooking new favourite meals couldn’t be easier
What is Alexa?
Alexa is the cloud-based voice service from Amazon. It's the brain behind Amazon Echo and other Alexa-enabled devices. Using Alexa is as simple as asking a question – just ask, and Alexa will respond instantly.
How does Alexa work with Good Food?
Simply ask Alexa, “What shall I cook for dinner tonight?” and Alexa will respond with our favourite Good Food recipe options, which are updated daily. You’ll then be able to enjoy an intuitive, hands-free cooking experience that’s now even easier – if paused or interrupted during the method, Alexa will remember where you were when you return to the recipe.

So, how do I get started?
Firstly, you need a compatible Alexa device – if you don’t own one then unfortunately you won’t be able to use this service. You also currently need to live in the UK for the cook along with Alexa to work. Read our FAQs page to find out more about Good Food and Alexa.

Just got an echo show, the Good food app is terrible. no search box to type into, and Alexa can't find anything if you say over 5 words, and can't access my saved or collections so have to start all over again will stick to the app on my phone that I pay for, very disappointed.
