Safiya Benmeriem is an editorial assistant at bbcgoodfood.com. She has a bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Greenwich in London and started working at BBC Good Food the summer of 2021. She is responsible for writing about a variety of topics encompassing food, family and lifestyle, including writing guides on the best recipes which BBC Good Food offer on site. Safiya also aids in audience research and data to report back to the team. She has a big passion for baking, particularly patisserie, breads and classic bakes including sponges, loaf cakes and a range of cookies and biscuits.
