Ingredients

  • Packet of chorizo sausage
  • 500g turkey breast mince
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp coriander seeds
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 6 cardamon pods - split
  • 500g jar tomato with chunky vegetables
  • Can of kidney beans in chilli sauce
  • 1/2 tsp chilli flakes
  • garlic oil
  • Handful of chopped fresh coriander

Method

  1. Slice/chop the chorizo sausage and fry in a large pan with the garlic oil until turning brown

  2. Add the mince and the spices and cook for 5 minutes

  3. Add the tomato sauce and the beans plus the chilli flakes, bring to the boil and simmer for 20 minutes

  4. Sprinkle over the coriander and serve with rice
