  1. Heat oven to 180C/fan 160C/gas 4. Boil the pasta for 2 mins less time than stated on the pack. To make the sauce, melt the butter in a saucepan and stir in the flour. Made it with tinned salmon instead of tuna and added one crushed garlic clove to the white sauce, yummy! Everybody loved it, will definitely do it again and again and again...

The recipe itself i found very bland. However i added some chilli powder, peas and fiery cheese to the top and it gave it the extra kick it required!
Its a good basic recipe or for fussy eaters though

Not bad for a mid week meal. I had to pimp it with some chopped chilli, chopped courgette, some spinach & some English mustard in the cheese sauce.

Added some sundried tomatoes and peas in, though found I need more flour than it states to get a thick enough sauce. Great recipe though - keeps for days.

great, somple and easy dish. ive made it a million times but today i substituted one of the cans of tuna for some cooked ham, also added chopped olives and chilli flakes as i find it a little bland sometimes. also i find it easier to season the sauce before the tuna, sweetcorn and other bits go in as its easier to mix. theres so much you can do with this dish... be inventive!!

I was looking for a good stanby weekday meal, preferably without meat. We are three adults and a 2 year old. Firstly, there is far too much food here, I served it with a salad and crusty bread. I would cook half the quantity if I did it again. Two of the adults loved it but I found it to be very bland. Would definately add garlic and probably something else to give it some flavour.

I did not like this at all! I thought it was to dry and tasteless.

Great when you get home & want a simple but tasty meal with store cupboard ingredients. I used goats milk & cheese & substituted the sweetcorn for peas and it was great.

I've done it today and it turned out great.
It wouldn't be dull if you add nutmeg and lots of black pepper (in powder) into the sauce. It's a great dish for cold winter days.
