Teriyaki chicken stir fry

A sweet and sticky stir-fry.

  • 1 tbsp groundnut oil
  • 2 chicken breasts, thinly sliced
  • 100g spring onions, trimmed and sliced, diagonally
  • 200g sugar snaps, halved , diagonally
  • 1 clove garlic, peeled and sliced
  • 1 medium red chilli, deseeded and finely sliced
  • 2 tbsps teriyaki marinade
  • 1 tbsp clear honey


    1. Heat oil in a wok and fry until turning brown
    2. Add spring onions and sugar snaps, cover and cook over a medium heat for 3-4 minutes
    3. Add garlic and chilli, stir constantly
    4. Raise the heat and add teriyaki and honey
    5. Stir and cook until it reduces and coats the chicken, add water if necessary.
    6. Serve with noodles or rice
    7. per serving: 221 kcals, 5.4g fat, of which 1.1g saturated fat

i added sesame seeds to this recipe also. great, quick and easy recipe.
