Ingredients

  • KUMQUAT SALSA ASIAN STYLE

Ingredients:

  • * 15 pcs fresh kumquat, thinly sliced
  • * 10 pcs cherry tomatoes, sliced
  • * 3 pcs of crushed garlic
  • * 3 pcs of shallots, thinly sliced
  • * 2 pcs of lemon squeeze
  • * 2 pcs red chilies - sliced
  • * 1 tsp ground dried shrimp (ebi) - optional
  • * chopped coriander leaves
  • * 3 tbs vinegar
  • * olive oil
  • * warm water, sugar, salt, pepper to taste

Method

  • STEP 1
    Thinly slice kumquat (whole - do not peel). cherry tomatoes, red chilies & shallots
  • STEP 2
    Soak dried shrimp in hot water, drain, grind them smoothly.
  • STEP 3
    Place them in a bowl, mix all the sliced ingredients, add crushed garlic, lemon squeeze, vinegar, olive oil, sugar, salt & pepper
  • STEP 4
    Sprinkle with chopped coriander leaves
  • STEP 5
    Ready to serve - best with grilled/pan fried fish
