Method

Mix the crème fraîche with the horseradish and a little salt and pepper. For the dressing, whisk the lime juice and zest with the honey, ginger and seasoning, then whisk in the oil. Lay the smoked salmon and prawns on 2 plates, then top with a dollop of the horseradish cream. Toss the salad in most of the dressing and pile on top. Drizzle the remaining dressing around the plate and serve.

Brilliant! Tasty, quick and easy to prepare ahead of time. Everyone loved it. Horseradish in creme fraiche was really lovely - will definitely be using that in other recipes as well.

I served this at a dinner party for eight and it went down a storm. I have never received such a fantastic response from ALL my guests before. I cooked Gordon Ramseys Beef Wellington for the main course and Blueberry cheesecake pots. The whole meal was a huge success. Thank you GF

A fantastic Valentine's day starter. Well thought out balance of classic flavours with a little bit of added zing. Used a bag of herb salad with pea shoots for added flavour. Easy, tasty, classy. Me and my sexy wife enjoyed it enormously.
