Great recipe! I cook this stew all the time now. I just added some chopped garlic and salt and pepper for a little extra flavour.

Didn't have any haricot so used 1xflagolet and 1xcannelini also added some garlic and a little balsamic vinegar. Yum!

Made this for 2 of us so it did us for two meals. Ate crusty olive bread with it on the first night and garlic bread the second. An absolutely delicious meal, very easy to make. Amazed at how tasty it is considering the simple ingredients. Very filling, great on a cold evening. As I am trying to lose weight, it suited my dietary requiremnts. Hubby loved it and has asked that we have it again - it definitely goes in my "keeper" box!

Very disappointing! Reading the list of ingredients, I worried that this might be bland. However, given the large number of positive reviews, I thought I'd give it the benefit of the doubt. I used Knorr stockpot stock cubes, as recommended by other reviewers. Unfortunately the end result was incredibly bland and tasteless - I've actually just ordered takeaway pizza as there is no way that I can serve this up to my husband when he gets in at 7.30 from a long day at work.

My family love this meal. I usually add some chopped up, fried pancetta to give it a bit more flavour & depth. With some warm, crusty bread & a glass of white wine, it does very nicely for a Saturday autumn supper!

This is absolutely delicious - and bizarrely healthy for something that tastes so good. One of my favourite dishes ever.

I'm trying to lose some weight and I was looking for something quick and whole and with some soup to it, I came across this recipe and it turned out really good. I added some potatoes and peas and used a bit less white beans and celery leaves instead of parsley and it was very much what I had in mind. A simple quick and good-tasting recipe.

I love this receipe. I add chilli flakes to give it some heat, garlic and fresh corriander to garnish. Cant fault it. I love chicken and it seems to be popluar with my 1year old too.

Would it be ok, if I make chicken stock with the chicken thighs and then fry them a little bit?

Make this all the time, feeds whole family including fussy one and three year old. Sometimes vary veg and beans depending on what I have. I've used courgette and borlotti beans and not added parsley as I've nt had any.
Freezes great... I am so glad to have this in my repertoire!

Was surprised at just how tasty this was, with so few ingredients and being so simple. Even OH, who is not a great lover of celery, liked it. Definitely in the 'tried, tested and ticked' category.

Oops again. I just realised I rated the wrong recipe. My above post is actually for the Spring Chicken in a Pot recipe. Doh!
