A perfect, simple way to cook chops. A family favourite

that was delicious, very rich, through all the intense flavours we could still taste the pork. Caramelised onions myself, with carrots, used cheddar. Mine looked a bit random and not like photo. Will have this again.

Made this today. Used chopped onion and cheddar. I think this would benefit an italian cheese finely grated as the cheddar fell off at the edges and did not completely cover the chop, nevertheless I enjoyed it very much but the management felt it was not one of my better coatings. You cannot please them all!

I tried the chicken alternative and did not like it at all! I really don't think the flavours go well together, was very disappointed. I have yet to try the pork one but maybe it's better.

A very simple dish that anyone could cook. I used caramelised red onion chutney as thats what I already had in and it works well. There's certainly nothing complex about the flavours, but still very tasty.

My husband thinks pork is as good as it gets when it comes to meat. The addition of cheese and caramelized onions is something I never would have dreamed of over here. Fabulous!

Sounds good enough for me so I'll go and make it now. I'll cook my own onions as I have no jar.

Was just looking for easy, minimal ingredient recipe and didn't have high expectations but this was surprisingly delicious and so easy to make! Would definitely make again.

A very easy recipe, great for a mid week supper. My son age 7 helped me to prepare the chops and he loved them too!. We also baked our chops in the oven or the smoke alarm keeps going off when we grill them for too long! Will definitely cook these again.

Tried this with chiken and it was even nicer! I wrapped the breasts in smoked streaky bacon after stuffing them and they came out lovely and moist. Dead easy but stunning enough for a dinner party.

Absolutely scrummy and so easy. Tesco do a lovely caramelised red onion relish which is superb for this recipe. I used cheddar cheese on top and served the chops with mash and brocolli. Can't wait to try the chicken version.

Nearly forgot to rate this. Sorry!

So simple to prepare. My chops were rather thick so I roasted them for 25 minutes rather than grill them. They looked great on the plate, but although tasty we found the whole dish rather over-rich. Would I do them again? Probably not.
