Ingredients

  • 1 mug long grain rice
  • 200g king prawns
  • 1 tbsp Chinese five spice
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, sliced finely
  • 1 1\2 cm ginger, chopped finely
  • quarter of a chili, seeded, chopped finely
  • 200g green beans, sliced into thirds
  • 1 bunch spring onions, sliced finely
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1\4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tsp cornflour
  • 1 lemon

Method

    1. Bring the rice to the boil in a big saucepan while stirring the prawns with the five spice and paprika until they're evenly coated
    2. Then you put a wok on a high heat with the oil and add the garlic, ginger and chili. Stand until the garlic is gold and crispy
    3. After that add the green beans and stand for a few minute stirring occasionally. Do the same with the spring onions
    4. To finish the stir-fry scrape in the prawns and add the soy and sweet chili sauce, then you season
    5. When the rice is done drain it and also slice the lemon into thirds. Then you just serve the stir-fry with the rice and lemon
