Method

  1. fry the onions until golden
  2. add the mince until brownws
  3. add the peppers & fry for a further 2 minutes
  4. then add the rest of the ingredients into the pan
  5. simmer for mins-1 hours you can have this ticking over on the stove all day, as with a curry the longer you cook it the better it is

  • 500gms minced beef (cheaper the better)
  • 3 mixed Peppers (sliced)
  • 2 large Onion (roughly chopped)
  • 2 x tins Plum Tomatoes
  • 2 x tins Red Kidney Beans
  • 1 large clove of Garlic - Crushed
  • 1" finger of ginger - finely grated
  • 2 Table spoons ground coriander
  • 1/2 tea spoon of chilli powder
  • 1 tea spoon of ground cayenne
  • 1 tea spoon of paprika
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/2 tea spoon groung black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 90gms (half a tube) tomato paste
  • 3/4 pint of water
