Raspberry buns

A Very tastey bun wich is good for a light snake and also goood for partys

Method

  1. oven on 190c.
  2. Rub margarine in to the flour to make breadcrumbs.
  3. mix in sugar.
  4. crack eggs into a bowl and mix together.
  5. add the egg to the flour mixture, a little at a time, using a table knife until the mixture forms s stiff dough.
  6. Turn out on to a clean surface. kneed lightly and make into a roll. Use a little flour if it sticks to the board.
  7. Divide into rounds equal pieces using a sharp knife.
  8. Shape into rounds, and place into cake case and into a bun tray.
  9. Make a well in the centre of each round and add a teaspoon of jam to each round.
  10. put in oven for 15min antill goldenbrown. When cooked put onto a cooling tray.

    I have assumed this is caster sugar but you seem to have forgotten to say when you add the vanilla essence! Just made the recipe andrhen looked at the bottle of vanilla essence an though"Sod it when was that mean to go in"

    I put the raspberry buns straight onto a lightly greased baking tray, no cases needed. Divide the mixture into two sets of 5 small buns, brush with the remainder of the egg; lovely :)
