  1. In a large bowl, mix together the turkey mince, onion, garlic, curry powder, coriander and egg yolk with a little salt and pepper. Combine well with your hands, then shape into 4 flat burger patties.

  2. Heat the oil in a frying pan over a high heat, then cook the burgers for 5 mins each side or until cooked through. Toast the cut sides of the burger buns. Place the salad on the bottom halves of the warm buns, then top with the burgers and chutney or lime pickle.

Really enjoyed these - I had to sub parsley for the coriander as I dont care for it. I had read so many comments about them not cooking through so i think I cooked them a bit too long and they were slightly dry so next time I'll cook for less time. I also made 7 rather than 5. These tasted even better the next day (as with most curry things) and I had them in a wholemeal wrap with minty yogurt and salad for lunch!

Really enjoyed these burgers with the curry powder and coriander. Agree with other comments that they need to be flatter so they cook all the way through. Great with lime pickle or mango chutney.

Very tasty nice curry flavour come through didn't have coriander but think this would add even more to the dish. Definitely will be making again.

I was looking for something different to do with the turkey mince I had bought. These were lovely! I'm really picky about burgers, and was a bit worried the curry flavour would be overpowering but it really isn't. Everyone who ate these commented how nice they were and the mango chutney goes perfectly!

Made these for my 6 year old & she said it was the best food she'd ever had so will be doing again. Following above and made 6 nice sized patties and they cooked through well.

Great recipe. Used Harissa instead of curry powder, as my bloke doesn't like cumin. Did these for the first time last night, and everyone liked them so much I'm doing them again tonight ;)

This recipe was lovely. The burgers were really tasty and juicy. I took heed of other comments and made the patties a bit flatter, but they still they came out really big! Think I will make 5, rather than 4 next time

I made these without the egg yolk & coriander and mixed my own Madras curry powder - still delicious and held together well in the pan.

My sister made these for the family and they were very tasty, and juicy too which was nice as I find beefburgers can be a little dry sometimes. I liked the curry flavour and I adore coriander, can't get enough of the stuff! The only thing I would say is make the burgers quite thin, or they will take a while to cook through.

these were so tasty. Read previous comments and really minced the tuna and also added one red chilli. Much better than a beef burger!

I did these under the grill to be extra healthy and as they were quite sticky wouldn't pan fry anyway. Loved the curry flavour though. Fab

I've made the burgers a few times. I add a small tomato and only add egg white to make it healthier. I also add salt, but not required if you are having it with lime pickle.

Have made these burgers several times now, they are always a winner. We usually have them with lime pickle and a wholemeal roll - delicious and very low fat!! Even the kids eat them!!

My 6 year old son (& husband) loved them and had them twice for dinner and lunch! I used WHOLE EGG plus two tablespoons of breakfast OATS (keeps burgers moist & healthy). Mixed mango chutney with (greek) yoghurt (yummy & healthier sauce).
Served in pita bread and added some sag aloo I made with leftover boiled new potatoes, frozen spinach, onion, garlic and a tsp of curry paste. It is a winner!

Love this recipe. When forming the patties, I suggest forming them on a floured board as they are quite sticky. This will help hold them together for cooking.
I also cook them in the oven (at 170C) for about 20 mins.
