Method

  1. Mix the yogurt, mustard and mayonnaise together in a bowl. Then, use a grater attachment on a food processor, or a box grater, to grate the cabbage and carrots. Either grate the onion or chop as finely as you can. Tip all of the vegetables into the bowl and stir through the dressing.

  2. Will keep in the fridge for up to 3 days.

Edit: The star feature was playing up, but I'd give this 2-3 stars. I had this with veal, mashed potato and green veg, however I wasn't a fan - I found the yoghurt overpowered it. I added more mustard and mayonnaise, and the sweet taste of the plain yoghurt still came through. I could eat it - I didn't hate it, but I wouldn't bother with this recipe again, or I would play around to find a way to reduce the yoghurt. I'd even be tempted to make my own mayo seeing as that's still relatively healthy and delicious.

Made with red cabbage and only yoghurt with Dijon and a pinch of smoked paprika and it was delicious! I will definitely make again

Tasted great and simple and quick to make, but grate the cabbage? Just chop it - far simpler and more even. Didn't bother with the mayo, added a touch of cayenne and an apple. Perfect with the slow cooked pork shoulder that will be about done in 20 mins from now!

Lovely....my partners never had homemade coleslaw before, he mush have said that's good at least 8 times! I did add a apple and some sultanas just to balance the sharpness....oh and a pinch of cayenne pepper. Yummy yummy.

Nice recipe. To keep it really healthy though i would replace the mayo with a home made version using olive oil instead of vegetable oil. Really easy and tasty! I'd use red cabbage instead though, and it gives the yoghurt a nice pink-y tinge!

This is a really easy recipe and tastes great. I didn't have plain yoghut so I used low fat creme fraiche, and I used low fat mayo. I also used 1 tsp of dijon mustard instead. If on Weightwatchers this equates to 6 generous servings at 2pp each! I served it with slow cooked BBQ pork and a bread roll.

Really good. Used my Julienne peeler for the carrots but struggled to grate the cabbage and onion, so ended up chopping them. Would definitely make again.
