Know-how

Dutched cocoa is less acidic than normal (check the packaging) and often gives more of a rise in baking.

note: ingredients list has no egg mentioned Made this with half the amount amount to make a serving for 1-2. Worked out beautifully! I added some amaretto to the dough and used extra fine cake flour. The top was still a bit gooey when risen after 20 min, but the rest was perfectly done. I love this, will make it more often!

It was perfectly nice, just not that special. Certainly wouldn't have made 4. Was enough for the too of us. Very chocolatey but perhaps a bit dry

Quick and easy, and very nice, but with the ingredients listed there is barely enough to make two decent sized puddings, so run a test if you are making these for guests

Nice and chocolatey but again agree with previous comments about not being enough for 4 people. I made 4 small pudding basins which served 2 hungry people. I served it with pouring cream and added some Tia Maria - very nice! Would make a nice, moist cake recipe too.

Firstly yes you do have to add an egg and yes there is not enough for 4 puddings (more like 2) but still this is a really good recipe although i did adapt it to include a melt in the middle centre which definitely made the pudding! One of the easiest things to make and definitely worth the small amount of time it takes to make them

I added two eggs and I used around 90g of flour plus some vanilla extract. I also cooked the puddings for around 30 minutes. It made four and they were yummy!
