  1. Prepare the sauce: Heat the oil in a medium pan. Toss in 2 tbsp of the parsley, the garlic, chilli and ginger and fry for a few minutes until slightly soft. Tip in the tomatoes and cook for another few minutes. Fold in the tuna and season the sauce generously. Leave the sauce to simmer for 10 minutes.

  2. Boil the pasta: Meanwhile, cook the pasta for 8-10 minutes, or as directed on the pack. Drain, then return to the pan. Pour the tuna sauce into the pasta and toss well. Sprinkle over the remaining parsley, divide between four bowls and serve.

This is now my favourite pasta dish! It's quick, cheap and fresh tasting…ideal for a midweek tea! I add black olives just to keep my son happy.

Tried this for the first time. Thought it was ok but I didn't rate it higher than 3 stars. Quite bland despite using two chillies. No plans to make it again.

Have just finished eating this! Finished work, went food shopping and this was the perfect quick Friday night recipe. I added the juice of a lime but that was the only change and this was really, really good. Wouldn't serve four (in my opinion but then what recipes do!) more like two with half a leftover bowl. Really fresh tasting and thoroughly enjoyed it. Will definitely become a regular now.

So lovely and easy, I make this at least once a week! Great with a squeeze of lemon.

Really nice dish and very easy to make.

This was incredibly simple to make and delicious. So delicious that my super-fussy five year old son actually raced his brother to see who could clean their plate first. This is the first time I have ever managed to get my children to eat tuna.

Oops forgot to rate it! Too busy finishing it off!

Just made this for lunch for myself and my 2 year old. I reduced the quantities and used a little chilli powder instead of fresh chilli- sprinkled on the ginger and garlic as they fried. Didn't have fresh parsley so used dried. We both thoroughly enjoyed it and I've just been told not to eat the last bits from the pan because she wants it again tomorrow!

Delicious! I was out of linguine so used spaghetti, and had no chilli so used dried chilli flakes in my portion as my 6 year old is not keen. Both worked very well. I will definitely be making regularly as my daughter is a big pasta fan & I am a fan of quick, easy, healthy & relatively cheap meal!

this was really yummy but i thought there was a little too much tomato sauce so the tuna was a bit swamped. i will definitely make this again though.

This was delicious, I've just made it as a quick meal for one. Yummy! The only addition was a squeeze of lemon before serving up. Shall make it often!

A very tasty dish, one of the best things you can do with canned tuna. I use the oil from the cans of tuna rather than extra olive oil to saute the garlic mix at the beginning. It's good for a mid-week meal.

I have made this recipe on numerous occasions, sometimes for friends, today for just myself. Flavourful, simple and inexpensive.
