Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup balsmati rice
  • 8 cup of chicken stock
  • 5 leaves of fresh basil
  • 1 medium egg
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Method

  • STEP 1
    measure out half cup of rice and add the 8 cups of chicken stock, and a pinch of salt and simmer untill the rice done to soft
  • STEP 2
    Add chopped basil leaves
  • STEP 3
    When rice is done to taste . At the end pour in the partially beaten egg . Do not beat egg in . Stir once or twice only to move egg around the pan.
  • STEP 4
    Serve.
  • STEP 5
    May look like dishwater
  • STEP 6
    do not be fooled !
