I made these brownies last weekend for the pudding for a dinner with a large group of friends, and they went down very well, they were amazing!! iv never made brownies ever before and for a first effort one of my pals said it tasted so good she would pay good money for it in a restaurant! :-)
i cooked them for 10 mins longer than the recipe states, as when itook them out after the suggested time they were a little too gooey.
i got 12 good size slices out of this. i will DEFINATELY be making these again.

These are the most amazing brownies in the world!!! Made them for my friends birthday and even though they took over an hour (blaming the dodgy student oven) they were still gorgeously gooey and delicious! was quite upset I actually had to share them so will definitely be making my own private stash very soon! :)

Cut about 100g of sugar and used muscovado as that was all i had. Used 25g less butter (again out of necessity and it was unsalted), used 70% dark choc + 2 dairy milks. All else essentially the same but tin was 8"*8" so they're a lot deeper than the picture. Cooked for 40 mins (fan oven) and they were perhaps a tad over done if anything.

Just perfect!
I agree with the other comments - bake for 5-10 minutes longer.
I may try with less sugar next time, but thought they came out perfectly!

Made for a baby shower on the weekend. Was surprised as to how easy they were and the beautiful results. The raspberry adds an extra dimension, brownies can be a tad overwhelming, so i thought it really helped to lighten it. would make again.

Gorgeous!! Recipe worked perfectly and so easy! Just throw everything into a bowl, melt and put in the oven! Mine cooked particularly quickly for some reason, most people have added time on but mine took 25 minutes so keep an eye on them! So delicious with a splash of single cream and fresh raspberries on the top

Love the recipe quick and easy and loved by all I also cook these for an extra 10 mins but if not the softer ones are great still warm with vanilla ice cream

I love this recipe and have cooked it several times. My son took it for his friends at school, one who said he didn't believe I'd cooked it, but brought it from M & S! I've also tried it with morello cherries and fresh blackberries from the garden - all good.

Absolutely love these! My daughter makes these to de-stress whilst studying & it does the trick every time. Took note of comments and used half the amount of sugar. Firm family favourite.

Used frozen raspberries. Probably not a good idea as after baking for 50mins they were still a gooey mess. Great taste but needed a spoon to eat them!

Made these last week and (though I had to cower at the amount of sugar, butter and chocolate!) they were absolutely delish!! The sharpness of the raspberries made such a massive difference, flavourwise, and I will definitely make them again - probably next weekend!
For those having an issue with getting them to cook properly, I split the mixture between two 20x20cm tins and baked them at 180 degrees (fan) for 40mins - they came out perfectly.

Brilliant! So tasty, everyone loves them. The raspberries add an extra zing to the rich chocolate. Easy too. Just put everything in the pan, mix and pour in the tray.
