Ingredients

  • 70 grams of plain flour
  • 70 grams of wholemeal flour
  • 1 tblsp olive oil
  • 1/2 a tsp salt
  • 50 - 70 mls water

Method

  • STEP 1
    add all the dry ingredients into a food processor or bowl
  • STEP 2
    add the oil
  • STEP 3
    slowly whilst mixing add the water until mix comes together
  • STEP 4
    gently knead dough then leave to rest for 10 minutes. whilst resting heat a frying pan on a high heat
  • STEP 5
    divide dough into 6 pieces and roll out. turn heat down to medium high and add chappatis one at a time cook for 1 minute each side or until it starts to bubble up
