  • 1 cup rye flour
  • 1 tsp bakepowder
  • 1,5 cups milk
  • 1 egg
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • olive oil

    Method

    • step 1

      Mis the rye flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Add a cup of mils, stir. Add 1 egg and half cup of milk, stir.
    • step 2

      Heat the oil in a frying pan. Fry pancakes in batches, 2-3min.

    Best non wheatflour pancakes yet, I used the basic recipe but with 2 small eggs and oatmilk. Fluffy and easy to cook.

    These are amazing. Really light texture which I didn't expect from rye flour! I used oat milk. I had them with peanut butter and maple syrup. Delicious!

    I tried these last Saturday and I was so impressed with how light and fluffy they were! I swapped milk for cashew milk to make dairy free. So good my parents have asked me to make them again this Saturday. Thank you for the recipe!
