This recipe is so simple, and such a favorite with my family they take about 10 minutes to prepare.

  • 3 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 2 apples
  • Egg wash (optional)


  1. Chop up your apples so they are roughly 1cm cubes. Then add the cinnamon and ensure that all your apples are covered in the cinnamon.

  2. Cut the pastry into rectangles so that you can fit about 4-6 cubes in each one. Place the apples in the center of each rectangle and bring the corners together so that they make a paper bag shape.

  3. add egg wash and put them into the oven for approx. 10 mins. Cook until pale brown.
