Tomato and spinach soup | BBC Good Food

Ingredients

1 onion
2 garlic
1 tinned tomatoes
2 fresh tomatoes
Good handful of spinach
2 tea spoons of sugar
2 table spoons of tomatoe purée
600ml of milk
Tea spoon of creme fresh
Salt and pepper

Method

STEP 1
Sweat onions and garlic
STEP 2
Once softened, add tomatoe purée, stir and add tinned tomatoes
STEP 3
Cook for around 15 mins the add spinach
STEP 4
Take off heat and blits
STEP 5
Place back on job in a pan and add milk, sugar salt and pepper
STEP 6
Allow to simmer for another 10 mins
STEP 7
Add creme fresh and sever
