  • 225g flour
  • 175g butter
  • 1 egg yolk, use white for glazing
  • 2 tbs water
  • jar of nice mincemeat
  • splash of brandy/Ameretti


  1. Mix all pastry ingredients in food processor and blend until all together. Wrap it in clingfilm and put in fridge for 1/2 an hour

  2. Roll pastry out and use a cutter to make either mini mince pies or larger ones.

  3. Mix the mincemeat with alcohol and place a little in the pastry. put lid on and place then place in a 180C oven for about 15 mins
