  • Indian Housewife Marsala Fish
  • Potatoes
  • moong beans
  • tartare sauce


  1. Put a couple of handfuls of moong beans in a pan add hot water, boil, skim, simmer for 30 mins until mushed. Heat small frying pan until very hot, add oil, mustard seeds, Madras powder. Stir add to Dahl with coriander leaf.

  2. Peel and cut potatoes into large dice. Boil for five minutes. Drain and chuff up in pan. Add oil mixed with mustard seed, cumin seed, chilli, salt and Madras powder. Roast in oven at 200 until crisp and tender.

  3. Finely chop one tiny onion and a little cucumber. Marinade in rice wine vinegar for 30 mins, drain, add mayo, lime juice, salt, fresh coriander.

  4. Enjoy!
