Feeding a crowd is not an issue for the Weber Master-Touch GBS Premium, with its massive 52cm diameter grill. Cooking with this barbecue was also super-simple as the heat conductivity is excellent.
Upper and lower vents coupled with an easy-to-read thermometer mean that you can be precise. Food cooked beautifully in our test; nothing stuck, and all ingredients were tender, succulent and tasty with next to no moving around or turning.

The hinged stainless-steel cooking racks make adding extra coals easy, and the central circular rack is quickly removed and replaced by a cast-iron searing ring (included), excellent for starting burgers on.
Little extra functions make the Weber a pleasure to use, like cleverly integrated hooks on the front handle for hanging tools and cloths. The detachable ash pan has the added smart function of a propeller-style blade in the base of the firebox; it turns side-to-side and pushes the ash into the pan to ensure the barbecue is clean before packing away.
The lid has a sturdy, stainless steel hinge that holds it firmly open and tightly closed. Manoeuvrability on sturdy wheels and storage is easy. We were impressed by the quality of this model and we found it hard to fault. It may be a big purchase, but we feel it offers good value for money.
