Breadmaker deals 2023: top deals on tried-and-tested models
Want to enjoy freshly baked bread at the touch of a button? Explore the best breadmaker deals on models tried and tested by BBC Good Food reviews experts
There’s no denying that we’re a nation of bread-loving Brits. In fact, research by Kantar in 2018 found that bread products are purchased by 99.8% of British households – that’s equivalent to 11 million loaves of bread sold each day.
With over 3,570 specialist bakeries and 12,704 supermarkets nationwide, bread is pretty easy to come by in the UK, but there’s something extra-special about a loaf you’ve made yourself.
Either through necessity or the extra time we were all being afforded, lockdown saw many turn to home-baking. In fact, breadmaking was the biggest trend of the year at BBC Good Food. As sourdough starters bubbled away and bakes became more daring, for many of us, breadmaking turned into a hobby that has lived on beyond the pandemic.
As much as we love to get hands-on when breadmaking, it’s not always practical. Enter: the breadmaker. These nifty appliances knead, prove, knock back and shape loaves at the touch of a button, all without you having to lift a finger or turn the oven on.
We’ve tested a wide variety of breadmakers, from small and simple models, to large devices that make bread, plus jam, cakes, yogurt and more. So, if you're looking to save some dough, the good news is there are plenty of deals to take advantage of.
Black Friday may be over, but we're continuing to track new breadmaker deals as they go live throughout December, so keep this page saved so you don't miss out on the biggest discounts.

Best breadmaker for rustic loaves

Star rating: 4.5/5
Wattage: 550W
£179£134 at AO | (save £45 or 25%)£179£139 at Currys | (save £40 or 22%)
This breadmaker gave our loaf a pleasing rustic look with a crisp crust and light, fluffy crumb. It comes with a wealth of settings, including a fruit and nut dispenser, plus a delay timer so you can wake up to the smell of fresh bread in the morning – an absolute win for us.
It's versatile too, and the bonus functions for making gluten-free loaves, dough only and packet-bread mix are a clever and unique addition. Deals-wise, we saw it drop to £120 in July this year – not far off the current price – so we'll be keeping our eyes peeled to see whether further discounts are dropped.
