Granny's Oat Cakes

Ingredients
- 9oz Margarine
- 12oz rolled oats
- 6oz Demerara sugar
- 2 tablespoons golden syrup
Method
- STEP 1Melt the margarine and syrup
- STEP 2Add sugar to mixture until it is all melted
- STEP 3Take the saucepan off the heat
- STEP 4Stir in the oats
- STEP 5Put them in a non stick baking tin/ grease proof paper - 10 inches by 12 inches
- STEP 6Put the mixture in the tin - spread it evenly
- STEP 7Set oven to Gas mark 5 and put in the mixture for 20 minutes
- STEP 8Take them out and cut it into 24 bars while it is hot
- STEP 9Leave to cool in tin
- STEP 10Take it out the tin and eat!!!
