Quick and easy, uses up over ripe or frozen bananas. Kids love it.

  • 4 medium sized ripe bananas
  • juice of half a lemon
  • 200g caster sugar
  • 500ml whipping cream


    1. Peel and chop bananas. Whizz in a blender or food processor with the sugar and lemon juice.
    2. Pour in the cream and mix well.
    3. Pour into a plastic box or ice cream maker for freezing. Stir as ice crystals begin to form (if you want).
    4. Remove from freezer 15 mins before serving.
    5. Serve with chocolate sauce.

I used brown sugar and added chocolate chips on top: delicious, so creamy!! I'll definitely do it again!
