This is a sublime mash! Very easy to make and goes perfectly with the one-pot chicken chasseur. My family request this dish again and again.

I used plain potatoes and added a spoonful of sugar instead. I left out the garlic and chilli as I don't like them. Made it for a family meal to celebrate my step dad coming out of prison and he it was a hit with everyone.

Lovely! I cut down on the garlic- as my tummy would hate me if i used a whole bulb never mind 2! I crushed 3 cloves of garlic and cut up one red chilli, seeds kept in for the kick. It was delicious! I served it with the one-pot chicken chasseur recipe also on bbcgoodfood as it was the reccommendation and how right it was! Made mash veg much more exciting :)

Made this with half the ingredients as that was all was available in fridge, used 8 cloves of garlic and chopped up veg small as I was short of time. Took only 25mins to cook through. Plenty of seasoning this is delicious and will definitely make it again.

Made the mash as per the recipe. Tasted lovely, the garlic roasts to become sweet so wasn't too garlicky for us.

The taste was too much combined with the other dishes, maybe next time I'll try to combine the sweet potatoes with some normal potatoes to tone down the sweetness
