I made these lovely little burgers and the flavour was fab! My only addition was a bit of beaten egg and then I left them to set in the fridge for 15 minutes before baking - this keeps them together slightly better. I also used fresh herbs from my garden which always helps!

I tried this recipe but the taste was too bland. Could this be due to inadequate cooking instructions - e.g. for oven cooking a method to ensure that the meat can be kept moist enough and/or for barding use of streaky bacon variety only ?

Didn't like these at all - very dry and a very strong flavour (not in a good way!).

Made this last night and served it with fried new potatoes and salad. Even my fussy daughter loved it. Will be making again

Far too lemony and took 40mins to cook in the oven as they were cool in the middle when tested after 30 mins and pan fried. Very disappointed as the kids wouldn't eat them due to the strong lemon flavour and the fact they don't go with tomato ketchup. A waste of good quality ingredients.

We found the lemon and sage flavours to be a bit too overpowering (I used fresh sage). I've made better turkey burgers with chopped apple in them.

Very easy and delicious. Next time, I'll make twice as much and freeze for an even speedier supper.

Great burgers that were easy to make and tasted delicious. We did find them a little dry but this website was down so I had to try and remember the cooking times which I think I got wrong and I forgot the bacon which im sure whould help to keep them more moist.
