A nice brownie recipe which the family loved, with a soft centre and a chewy crust. Only trouble is that it doesn't rise very well and becomes quite thin, other than that, a great recipe!

The first time i made this it came out okay-ish a little burnt but tasted amazing. however the second time making this turned into a disaster, whilst baking it bubbled out of the tray ( i think the weighing scales i was using were buggered). However today I shall be attempting to make it with a better set of weighing scales and hopefully it should come out better.

I found this very easy to make, and must say was lovely - it was moist and had that gooey touch to it - I used dark cooking chocolate - will definately be making this one again - once it cooled I cut it into small squares - absolutely lovely!

Not sure what I did wrong with this cake - after 25 minutes it still looked completely uncooked. Left it another ten minutes. It didn't rise at all. It tasted OK but certainly didn't blow me away - perhaps it's my oven???
